Yesterday, was one of the funniest days of my life. i made a fool out of myself in front of so many people. it was so damm embarrassing.It all started with John coming over to ask all the swimmers whether any of us are swimming this sunday in the ssa interbranch meet.Well... of course deborah, selena and me said we were. John then came to me(maybe 'coz i was new to the "regulations") and told me "christabel, you are not swimming in the sunday meet." Blur as i am, i thought he was asking "christabel, you are not swimming in the sunday meet, are you??" so i said i would.John kept repeating that i would not and i kept repeating that i would. Naturally, this "interesting converstion" caught the attention of all the other swimmers. thk god deborah(who was standing beside me) explained that John was actually trying to tell me that i wasn't allowed to take part in the competition. she really saved me from furthur embarrassment. Man, i'm freaking-ly stupid as to not being able to guess what John actually meant.
